The John Quinn Highfield Princess landed the Group One Nunthorpe Stakes at York on Friday and now she has become the antepost favourite for the Sprint Cup.

This 5-year-old daughter of Night Of Thunder obliged at 5/1 under jockey Jason Hart to win by 2½ lengths to The Platinum Queen.

The 5/2 favourite Royal Aclaim finished in sixth position for trainer James Tate.

Traders reacted to the victory by cutting Highfield Princess into 4/1 from 6/1 to win the Sprint Cup, making her the new favourite.

The talented mare was also cut into 6/1 from 9/1 to win the Qipco Sprint making her the ante post favourite in that market also.
