Agreement on a transfer for the Real Madrid man was confirmed by United on Friday with a medical scheduled for the weekend, meaning he won’t be registered in time for a debut against Liverpool on Monday night as the Red Devils seek to avoid a third straight defeat.
Casemiro picked up 11 yellow cards in La Liga last season and we’ve already been forced to cut the odds on him seeing red in the Premier League before the season breaks in November for the World Cup into 15/8 from 7/2.
A red card in any of his first five matches has also been clipped into 11/2 from 13/2, with odds of 16/1 available on him being shown a card in each of his first three appearances for his new club.
A first appearance for the Old Trafford new boy is expected to come on the road against Southampton next weekend and he is now a 28/1 shot from 33/1 to mark his debut by being sent for an early bath.
