Some of Honeysuckle’s rivals include the 2020 heroine Epatante who is 12/1 with BoyleSports for trainer Nicky Henderson.

Honeysuckle is always well backed and it’s easy to see why. We might never see another mare like her as she attempts to make it 15 races unbeaten.

The Willie Mullins trained Appreciate It is the second favourite at 4/1 and he has not raced since winning the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the festival last year. Teahupoo is 10/1 for trainer Gordon Elliott and he also saddles Zanahiyr at 18/1 with Jack Kennedy booked for the ride.

The Irish support continues throughout the card, but the Mares Hurdle looked a fascinating race with the Henry de Bromhead trained Telmesomethinggirl the 3/1 favourite with Rachael Blackmore booked so it could be a fruitful day for the duo.

It could be a day for Irish ladies as Telmesomethinggirl is the 3/1 favourite to land the Mares Hurdle.

Gordon Elliott’s Queens Brook is the second favourite at 9/2 with Willie Mullins’ Stormy Ireland 5/1, Burning Victory 15/2 and Echoes In Rain 10/1. The Paul Hennessy trained Heaven Help Us won at the festival last year but steps into Grade One company with her chances rated at 11/1 for the Co. Kilkenny trainer.
