Our Duke Biggest Loser In BoyleSports Irish Grand National

BoyleSports Irish Grand National

Outright Betting

The latest forfeit for the BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse sees the Gordon Elliott-trained Lord Scoundrel (25/1) head the weights.

Currently the Jessica Harrington-trained Our Duke heads the betting at 11/2 having been supported down from an initial introductory price of 14/1 when the race was priced up early last month.

He is by far the worst result in the antepost book at present.

With the form that novices have in the race and the winning streak that trainer Jessica Harrington and jockey Robbie Power are on at present, we are very keen to keep him on side.

The Pat Kelly Mall Dini is Our Duke’s nearest rival in the betting at 10/1, with Gordon Elliott’s Noble Endeavour also priced at 10/1.

Harry Fry’s Fletchers Flyer is priced at 14/1 alongside stablemates The Crafty Butcher and Haymount, Edward Harty’s Minella Foru, and the Ellmarie Holden-trained Abolitionist who was last seen winning the Leinster National at Naas.

2015 winner Thunder And Roses is currently priced at 25/1 to repeat his success, whilst last year’s winner Rogue Angel is priced at 33/1.
