A Co. Dublin punter’s flutter on their lucky Lotto numbers paid off in the shape of a five-figure windfall on Tuesday night.

The anonymous punter placed a €0.50 cent Super Yankee in their local BoyleSports shop to try and overcome mammoth odds in the EuroMillions main draw taking place that evening amounting to a stake of €13.

The customer selected the numbers 8, 18, 19, 21 and 27 to be drawn and with four out of the five numbers rolling out of the machine, a big pay out had landed.
If all five numbers had landed, a mouth-watering amount of €340,513 would have been won.
Only number 8 let the Dublin winner down, but the four numbers still overcame big odds and were enough to see their stake transformed into a mega total of €19,805.50.
