Ex-Newcastle, Fulham & Everton Man’s Transfer Warning To Man Utd
Louis Saha has warned Manchester United not to fall into the trap of panic buying as they look to make their first signing of the summer.
A move for Dutch midfielder Frenkie De Jong has yet to materialise with reports suggesting they remain short of Barcelona’s asking price and Saha has urged his former club to hold their nerve.

“Man United don’t need to worry about being left behind by their rivals,” Saha told BoyleSports.
“Obviously the big teams are going to attract big names, but every team has problems that they have to deal with and United shouldn’t be pushing the panic button.
“The club has to make the right choices and sign the right players for the club. It’s very important not to panic buy, those in charge of signings need to make sure the philosophies at the club are right and that the players coming through the door are buying into the project.
“It doesn’t matter how much you’re spending, it’s about quality. You don’t need to spend £100m on a player who is going to disrupt your club.
“They definitely need to improve the midfield, but I still feel it’s not always about the players, it’s about the infrastructure of the club and the dynamic that those higher up want to impose.”
