Dublin Native Lands €5 Each Way Treble At Punchestown To Collect €7,164

There were celebrations on Saturday afternoon when one lucky Dublin native landed three winners at Punchestown and walked off richer to the tune of over €7,000.

The stunning turn of fortune began for the anonymous County Dublin punter when they placed a simple €5 each way treble in their local BoyleSports betting shop on Saturday’s racing at the Punchestown Festival. They picked 3 horses in the 17.00, 17.35 and 18.10 races at the County Kildare venue.

The customer didn’t have to wait long for all three winners to land with Heron Heights landing the first win for the wager when super sub Davy Russell replaced the injured Rachael Blackmore. Heron Heights won comfortably under the champion jockey at a handsome price of 12/1 for trainer Henry De Bromhead.

Mr Adjudicator obliged in the second leg of the treble at odds of 14/1 under the capable hands of jockey Patrick Mullins for his father Willie.

The final winner needed to land the treble was Ard Abhainn for Lisa O’Neill and Gordon Elliott and he done the business at 13/2, the coup was complete.

The Dublin punter was able to call back to his local betting shop to collect a tidy sum of €7,164 from a stake of just €10.
