How do Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard compare as managers right now?

Steven Gerrard has had money to spend, whereas Frank Lampard hasn’t had anywhere near the same level of investment.

Everton are on a bigger financial tightrope than Aston Villa so Gerrard should be doing a lot better than what he is.

The Everton team has definitely got better since Lampard has arrived and the team has a better structure.

They look defensively more solid and aren’t conceding as many goals – where Everton have lacked is in forward areas and Calvert-Lewin’s injury record is a concern.

Thoughts on Mo Salah’s poor start to the season?

I see a resemblance between Mo Salah and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang. They both got massive contracts and didn’t play well afterwards.

The difference is that Salah doesn’t seem to have the same personality as Aubameyang, he seems a little bit more of a family man and more of a team player on the pitch.

Salah hasn’t started the season as he’d have hoped, however, I hope from an Everton point of view that it carries on after the weekend.
