Limerick To Get Back To Winning Ways Against Cork

National Hurling League action returns this weekend and Limerick are strongly fancied to get back to winning ways against Cork on Saturday evening at the LIT Gaelic Grounds.

Limerick’s ambitions of winning the National Hurling League Division One title for the third successive year are over after taking only one point from a possible six, but their odds have been clipped into 4/6 from 8/11 to bounce back against Cork.

The Rebels have landed a total of 14-65 in their opening three games,

…but are the 6/4 underdogs to continue their strong campaign against the All-Ireland champions.

Waterford’s win over Limerick at Walsh Park in their last game saw Liam Cahill’s men move into 12/1 from 50/1 to win the league, but Kilkenny are popular 11/10 favourites should the Championship schedule throw up a decider between the divisional table toppers.

Waterford face Galway on Sunday and are rated as the 15/8 underdogs against the Tribesmen who are the 1/2 favourites, while the handicap betting suggests Westmeath would need a 20-point start to overcome Tipperary in Mullingar.
