Marsh Novices’ Chase Winner Chantry House Odds Trimmed For Gold Cup Glory

Nicky Henderson extended his impressive record by winning the John O’Leary Memorial Future Stars Intermediate Chase at Sandown on Sunday with the talented Chantry House.

Chantry House gave his trainer his fourth win in the last five years in this event with this 2021 Marsh Novices’ Chase winner now fancied for Gold Cup glory at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival.

This 7-year-old son of Yeats won by a massive margin of 37 lengths beating The Big Breakaway in a two-horse race.

We have now trimmed this JP McManus owned talent into 10/1 from 12/1 in the betting for the Gold Cup.

There was some good racing at Navan with the Gavin Cromwell trained My Mate Mozzie winning the Grade Three For Auction Novice Hurdle under jockey Mark Walsh. He justified 4/5 favouritism and is now 12/1 from 20/1 for both the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle.
