Newcastle Backed To Avoid Relegation Following Eddie Howe Appointment

Eddie Howe has been confirmed as the new Newcastle manager after signing a contract at St James’ Park until the summer of 2024.

The former Bournemouth boss succeeds Steve Bruce, who parted company with the club on October 20th.

This new signing has resulted in plenty of punters feeling optimistic of Newcastle’s hopes in the future and we have already trimming their chances of Premier League and EFL Cup glory next season.

The Magpies were chalked up at 66/1 for a 2022/23 Premier League win but those odds are now into 50/1 with even the chances of signing Harry Kane before February 3rd 2022 clipped into 33/1 from 50/1.

It’s 7/1 from 10/1 for Newcastle to win the EFL Cup next season while they are 12/1 to win the FA Cup.

Newcastle’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea left them in 19th place in the table but things are looking up if the latest betting is anything to go by as the Magpies have been backed into 8/11 from 5/4 to stay up.
