How The Teams Match Up
The Packers head to Miami with their season on the line. In truth, they need to win their last three games and hope the teams around them lose if they are to have a chance to make the playoffs. Miami are also in the middle of a tight playoff race and another loss might see them on the outside looking in. In short, this is a massive game for both teams.
Green Bay have been one of the Super Bowl contenders the previous three years in the NFL but this year has seen a massive drop off in performance level from the team. Their current record is 6-8 which does a pretty good job at summing up how poor they have been this season.
However, the Packers come into this game in good form with two straight wins. QB Aaron Rodgers and this team’s receiving group seem to be clicking together nicely. The defence is also playing better than they were earlier in the season as they are starting to create turnovers and give up less big plays.
On paper Miami are a better team than Green Bay. They have a better record at 8-6 and they have much more firepower on offence with two of the league’s most explosive receivers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
With that said, the Dolphins have been struggling of late with three straight losses. Despite their recent run of losses I think this team showed in their last game against Buffalo that they are starting to get back to their best form so this matchup against Green Bay should be the one that gets them back in the winning column.

Coming into the season this game looked like an absolute cracker. Now? Not so much. I’m not going to sugarcoat it; both teams are downright bad.
Let’s start with the Broncos. Denver acquired superstar (or so they thought) QB Russell Wilson in the offseason. Wilson has struggled immensely so far during his time in Denver.
Denver has a great defence so if this offence was even half-way decent they could have been a legit contender in the AFC. Unfortunately for Broncos fans this offence is one of the very worst in the league.
Denver struggle to move the ball and they struggle even more to score points. On the bright side, there has been a little bit of an offensive revival over the last couple weeks for this team with 24 points last week and 28 in the week before that.
The Rams are the defending Super Bowl Champions but they couldn’t look any different from a team that hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in this calendar year. Last week against Green Bay they were outgained by almost 200 yards in a 24-12 loss.
Starting QB Matthew Stafford is out for the season with an elbow injury which has relegated this offence to one of the worst in the league. I would expect the Rams to struggle mightily to move the ball against what is a good Denver defence in this game.
LA have steadily been improving on defence over recent weeks. Their pass rush is starting to put pressure on opposing QBs which could cause massive problems for this poor Denver offence.

How The Teams Match Up
Like the other two games on Christmas Day this is a match between two teams that are struggling for form right now. Tampa Bay were supposed to be Super Bowl contenders coming into this season but are 6-8 while Arizona are one of the worst teams in the league at 4-10.
Despite the Buccaneers terrible record they are still atop their division and will make the playoffs as their division winner as things stand. This is just not a good football team but luckily for them they are better than the Cardinals who are somehow even worse.
Tampa Bay is led by all-time great QB Tom Brady who is now 45 years of age and has shown a commitment to not retiring to spend more time with his family. In their last game against the Bengals the Bucs showed signs that they are starting to improve. They outgained the Bengals, one of the better teams in the league, by over 150 yards but bizarrely lost the game.
The Cardinals are a bad football team and they have absolutely nothing to play for at this point in the season apart from pride. Arizona is currently on a four game game losing streak and things got worse last week when starting QB Kyler Murray suffered a season ending injury.
I expect Arizona to be competent on offence with veteran QB Colt McCoy leading the offence which should keep this game close but anything other than a Bucs win would be a shock.
