Nicky Byrne Backed To Get Ireland Back To Eurovision Domination

The rumours were true! Nicky Byrne will represent Ireland in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest and it looks like he could be our saving grace as Ireland’s price to win has been slashed.

Just last week BoyleSports reported early support from punters for Ireland to win the Eurovision at 33/1 off the back of reports the ex-Westlife singer and 2FM DJ was tipped to represent the country in the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm.

The rush of support resulted in traders nipping the price into 25/1 as the liability grew, however since it has been confirmed that Nicky will fly the Irish flag in Sweden punters have once again forced BoyleSports’ hand and Ireland is now a respectable 16/1 shot.
