Postponed Shortens For Prix De L’Arc

Postponed continues to head the Arc betting at 4/1 having shortened in from 8/1 after landing the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Cup.

The Roger Varian trained 5-year-old has been cut further to retain the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot and is now priced at 5/4 after shortening into 6/4 from 3/1 on Saturday.

Almanzor has been introduced at 16/1 for the Prix de l’Arc Triomphe following the Jean-Claude Rouget trained 3-year-old’s French Derby win at Chantilly on Sunday.

Following the news that Godolphin have added Van Der Decken to their squad at Ascot BoyleSports have introduced Paddy Twomey’s Curragh Maiden winner at 12/1 for the Coventry Stakes.

It is going to be a competitive Arc as Postponed continues to lead the charge at 4/1…

but punters remain attached to Minding at 6/1 following her Investec Oaks win on Friday.
