Premier League Darts – Night Two Betting Preview And Tips
Former World Darts Champion and Sky Sports analyst Mark Webster has joined BoyleSports to run the rule over the second night of action in the Premier League as it moves to Liverpool to showcase the radical new eight-player knockout format and crown the second nightly winner of the revamped event.
Peter Wright v Michael van Gerwen
Looking ahead to week two of the Premier League in Liverpool Peter Wright won last week and he kicks things off this week against Michael van Gerwen.
Peter Wright is in some form at the minute. Michael van Gerwen is probably in the biggest slump of his career. I expect Peter Wright to get the job done and pick up where he left off last week.

Jonny Clayton v Michael Smith
The second match of the night is Jonny Clayton who was runner-up last week and he takes on Michael Smith who failed to get going last time out.
I think a bit of revenge for Jonny Clayton in this one. It will be a close one, but I think Jonny will edge out Michael and set up a repeat of last week’s final with Wright.
Joe Cullen v James Wade
The third match of the night is Joe Cullen and James Wade. Cullen played well last week in spells but Jonny Clayton blew him away in the end. But I think Joe can get some points on the board this week and I think he beats James Wade. Again, I think it will be a close one but it’s Joe for me to book his spot into the semi-finals.

Gerwyn Price v Gary Anderson
The final match of the quarterfinals sees Gerwyn Price play Gary Anderson, a repeat of the 2021 World Championship final. Gary had a good win last week against Michael van Gerwen. Gerwyn is yet to register a point but I think he will get some points this week and I think he beats Anderson and goes on to make the semi-finals in Liverpool.
He is the 3/1 favourite in the betting to win night two.

Mark Webster is a darts professional who was a mainstay of the circuit between 2005-2020.
Starting out in the BDO, he went on to be crowned the third Welsh World Champion in the organisation when he beat Simon Whitlock in the 2008 final at the Lakeside.
Webster went on to have a distinguished career in the PDC, twice reaching the semi-finals of the World Championships including a run in 2011 in which he knocked out 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor, earning himself a spot in the prestigious Premier League.
He now works as an analyst and commentator for Sky Sports.
