PSG Will Go Close In The Champions League

Champions League

Outright Betting

It was a good week in the Champions League week for the Premier League sides with all four winning their matches.

I wouldn’t necessarily judge Tottenham from their win as Red Star Belgrade were woeful, particularly in the second half. It was a very comfortable night for Tottenham and good to see them back to winning ways all the same.

Again, it was another comfortable night for Man City but the stand-out performance of the week was Chelsea winning away at Ajax. It was a great win for them and now six wins on the bounce for Frank Lampard.

It’s been an incredible turnaround for them and I think they will get stronger and stronger as the season progresses.

I don’t think Liverpool were too fluent in the first half against Genk but in the second half they were outstanding. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s goals were excellent, particularly the second one. So, it’s back to winning ways for Liverpool after a below-par performance against Man United on Sunday.

Recommended Bets
I think you can’t look beyond Man City or Liverpool to win the Champions League with their style of play and the way they put other teams to bed.

Barcelona weren’t great against Slavia Prague. Yes, Messi scored but overall, Griezmann is not firing, Suarez certainly wasn’t at it his best. They had to grind out the win.

Mbappe coming of the bench for PSG and scoring the hat-trick against Club Brugge was outstanding. They have a brilliant squad.

Fair enough, it was against a team that isn’t too strong but as a little outsider, I think we may see PSG go close in the Champions League at 7/1 with BoyleSports.
