Punter Pockets €33,000 from €1 EuroMillions Bet

The EuroMillions jackpot of €88,587,275 was won by one lucky person in Ireland on Tuesday night but we can report another big win after a Dublin punter netted €33,001.

The customer who wishes to remain anonymous placed €1 on the numbers 5, 7, 17 and 23 to be drawn in Tuesday night’s main EuroMillions draw. They also played two other sets of three numbers bringing their total stake up to €3.

The €1 bet defied mammoth odds of 33,000/1 meaning a second Irish customer is celebrating this afternoon with a total payout of €33,001.
