Punter Turns 25c Wager Into €8,000 Windfall

A Dublin punter brightened up their Tuesday when their miniscule 25 cent wager on their lucky EuroMillions numbers scooped just over €8,000.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed their 25 cent stake on four numbers, 1, 12, 15 and 29, to be drawn during the EuroMillions Main Draw on Tuesday evening.

Defying odds of 33,000/1, all four numbers were drawn in succession.

The result was this Dublin punter turning their tiny stake into a large windfall of €8,250.25.
