Punters Backing Dundalk To Progress To Last 32

Dundalk take on Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel on Thursday in their last Group D Europa League game as they bid to reach the Last 32.

The Lilywhites need Zenit to beat AZ Alkmaar in the other group game and pick up a score draw at least to progress to the Last 32.

We make it 5/1 that Stephen Kenny’s side will reach the last 32 which is indeed proving popular with supporters.

Dundalk face a tough task in Israel on Thursday evening but their confidence is certainly high and we are seeing plenty of patriotic support behind the Lilywhites to record a win which has resulted in their price hardening into 13/2 from 15/2. Maccabi Tel Aviv are odds on at 4/9 and the draw is priced at 10/3.

The first goalscorer market sees Maccabi’s Vidar Orn Kjartansson head the betting at 10/3 with Dundalk’s David McMillan priced at 13/2 to open the games scoring. Both teams to score and a draw can be backed at 9/2.

No matter what happens in Israel, Stephen Kenny’s squad have certainly put Irish soccer on the European map and flown the flag with pride. Qualification would certainly be the cherry on top.
