‘Room’ Backed To Score Oscar For Ireland

Irish director Lenny Abrahamson’s movie Room has been nominated for four Oscars and BoyleSports have priced up some specials on the Canadian-Irish drama-thriller.

Brie Larson remains red hot at 2/7 to win Best Actress for her role as Joy “Ma” Newsome and it’s currently 4/6 that Room will win exactly one Oscar.

Two or more Oscars can be backed at 9/4 whilst Room to come home without an Oscar is priced at 7/2.

Despite being a 28/1 outsider to win Best Director for the film, Lenny Abrahamson has been the subject of plenty of patriotic support to claim the Oscar and bring it back to Ireland. Punters are favouring it to win Best Adapted Screenplay at its current odds of 7/4.
