Seeley’s Selections – Champions League Final

It might not be the Champions League final that everyone was hoping for but Saturday night’s clash between Barcelona and Juventus promises to be a real classic.

The neutrals where hoping for an El Classico showpiece, but they haven’t got it and for me the best two teams in the continent will do battle in Berlin.

Both of these sides will arrive in Germany in fantastic form and bidding to win a treble after securing domestic doubles at the weekend.

Barcelona are the worthy favourites at 2/7 with BoyleSports to win a fifth Champions League crown and despite playing some superb football all season, they do look too short at those prices. The BoyleSports odds compilers know that Barca will be a popular choice with you lot and, again, the 8/13 on them to win in regulation time does look too short for any financial investment.

Luis Enrique’s side have been peerless in 2015 winning 30 of their 35 games this year, but Juventus haven’t been too shabby either and this will be a lot, lot closer than those odds suggest.

The “Old Lady” are an industry best 13/5 to be crowned kings of Europe with BoyleSports for, surprisingly, just a third time and nothing is over until she starts singing.

Followers of Serie A might be very interested in the 5/1 with BoyleSports on the Italians to win in 90-minutes, I’m not.

I really think the Serie A champs can go toe-to-toe with the Spaniards for the entire 90 minutes and I’m all over the draw in 90 minutes which looks far to big at 31/10 with BoyleSports.

Juve have conceded just seven goals in their 12 Champions League games this season, but it’s just impossible to see how they contain Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar for the 90 minutes. The Spanish champions have now scored in their last 22 games and, with the Italians only failing to find the net twice in their last 26 games, goals look certain.

Both teams to score is 20/21 with BoyleSports which certainly is a bet and that would have been a winner in three of the last four Barca matches and nine of the last ten Juve games.

If you would prefer a nice price fancy in Europe’s big match-up then a 1-1 correct-score bet at 13/2 with BoyleSports certainly looks the bet.

Every one of you will be choosing one of Barcelona’s front three to open the goalscoring after 120 goals between them this season, but you may have missed the value.

Argentinian Carlos Tevez has been overlooked by BoyleSports for this one and the former Man United and Man City striker is massive at 15/2 to open the scoring.

Tevez had never scored a Champions League goal before his move to Turin and this season he’s weighed in with seven, which is 44% of the Italian’s total, and at 29/10 with BoyleSports to score at anytime that’s a bet for me.

Seeley’s Selections:
Both Teams To Score – Yes @ 20/21
Draw (90 mins) @ 31/10
Correct Score: Barcelona 1-1 Juventus @ 13/2
First Goalscorer – Carlos Tevez @ 15/2
Anytime Goalscorer – Carlos Tevez @ 29/10
