Six GAA Clubs To Battle It Out In Shelbourne Park For €5,000

One of six Dublin GAA clubs will walk away with €5,000 thanks to BoyleSports depending on the winner of the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby on Saturday night.

Prior to the BoyleSports Irish Derby commencing, Shelbourne Park and BoyleSports invited all GAA clubs in Dublin to take part in the competition and allocated each GAA club that responded with a dog.

Six clubs now remain with favourite Farloe Blitz representing Man O’War GAA Club based in Balbriggan. Cable Bay who will race from Trap 2 will represent Wanderers GAA Club whilst Ballymac Matt will fly the flag for Clontarf club, Scoil O’Chonaill.

Kilmacud Crokes will be hoping that Peregrine Falcon can win from Trap 4 whilst Gaytime Hawk will represent Round Towers GAA Club from Lusk with Trap 6, Farloe Rumble flying the flag for Finglas club, Erin’s Isle.

This is the second year that we will give €5,000 to a Dublin GAA Club and the initiative has proven even more popular than ever this year with clubs from Dublin and Wicklow expressing their interest.

We wish all six GAA clubs the very best of luck on Saturday night and may the fastest dog bring home the €5,000 to one lucky GAA club that no doubt will find use of the prize to benefit their club for the coming year.
