Support For Seamus Power After PGA Tour Win
Seamus Power is celebrating his monumental breakthrough win at the Barbasol Championship in Kentucky on Sunday and is now attracting plenty of support for future success.
Power became just the sixth Irishman to win on the PGA Tour alongside Darren Clarke, Pádraig Harrington, Graeme McDowell, Rory McIlroy, and Shane Lowry.
Now a PGA Tour winner, Power is eligible for automatic qualification to the Sentry Tournament of Champions, The Players Championship and the PGA Championship next year.
Power has now also finished inside the top 20 in six consecutive tour events, including three top 10 finishes with BoyleSports traders reporting a spike in support for the Waterford man since his big win.
The chances of Seamus Power winning The Players Championship next year has been hammered into 100/1 from 500/1 while a Tournament Of Champions title is more likely according to the odds as they have taken a hit into 66/1 from 150/1.
A FedEx Cup win is rated at 80/1 while a victory in the PGA Championship is a 100/1 shot.
