Team USA Backed For Ryder Cup Success

Team USA are being backed to win the Ryder Cup ahead of tee-off this Friday at Whistling Straits with Europe beginning to drift for the first time.

BoyleSports traders reported on Wednesday morning that USA have been backed into 1/2 from 8/15 and are strongly fancied to win the biennial tournament.

Justin Thomas is their most likely player to be crowned the top overall points scorer of the tournament with his odds sinking into 5/1 from 7/1. Jordan Spieth, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele are all 7/1.

Europe will start as underdogs to emerge as Ryder Cup winners for the fifth time in six contests and have drifted out to 2/1 from 6/4 to retain the trophy.

Shane Lowry is 6/4 from 13/8 to become the top European rookie points scorer while Jon Rahm is the 3/1 favourite to be the top European points scorer.
