Tiger Woods Masters Betting Odds 2023 – Can He Win At Augusta Again?

Check out Tiger Woods’ Masters betting odds for 2023 as the big cat tries to add another green jacket to his wardrobe at Augusta this April.

Can Tiger add to his tally of five green jackets and match Jack Nicklaus for the most Masters wins in tournament history? Is he fully over his gruesome leg injuries and (mostly) back to full health? Find out all you need to know below before you bet on Tiger Woods to win the 2023 Masters.

Tiger Woods Masters Betting Odds

Tiger Woods is 50/1 to win the Masters in 2023. These odds were much bigger prior to his performance in the Genesis Invitational this February. However, after he showed up at that tournament and put in a brilliant performance after a long injury absence he has had a lot of money come in on him to win this year’s US Masters Tournament.

Tiger started the Genesis with a bang by carding a two-under par 69 which put the gold world on notice that he is ready to make a push for this year’s Masters.

His second round wasn’t as impressive and he ended up with a three-over par 74 but even still there were plenty of promising signs to take from the round. An incredible four-under 67 on Saturday showed us that his opening round was no fluke too. Overall it was a week that will give Tiger fans a lot of hope in the lead up to the Masters.

Tiger Woods Injury News

Tiger suffered horrific leg injuries following a car crash in February of 2021. The accident was so serious that Woods had to be rescued from the car wreck with the use of the jaws of life tool.

The legendary golfer has fallen victim to career threatening injuries for the majority of his career at this stage. The main culprits have been his knees, which he has undergone many surgeries to repair, and his back, which he has also had numerous surgeries on to keep his playing career alive.

We hadn’t seen Tiger since his appearance at the PGA Championship at Southern Hills last May where he withdrew from the competition after a nine-over par 79 citing soreness which may have been made worse by the cold and windy conditions that week.

Now that we’ve seen him perform for the first time this year at the Genesis Invitational we can be sure that he looks in much better shape than he was last year. Does this mean he can challenge for another green jacket at this year’s Masters? Time will soon tell.

Tiger Woods Masters Wins

Tiger Woods has won the Masters Tournament five times. His first victory in the prestigious event came all the way back in 1997 as a fresh faced 21-year old. However, his most memorable win came in 2019. That year’s victory capped off one of the most incredible career comebacks that we have ever seen in any sport.

In between his first and most recent victory were his Masters victories in 2001, 2002 and 2005. Tiger in the 2000s was perhaps the most dominant golfer we have ever seen and those three green jackets in that period are proof of that.

The only person with more Masters wins than Tiger Woods is the legendary Jack Nicklaus who has six green jackets to his name. Woods’ tally of five Masters puts him in second place all-time for most Masters wins ahead of golf legend Arnold Palmer who has the third most green jackets.

Masters Betting Odds 2023 – Who Tiger Has To Beat

There are a lot of big names in top form that Woods will have to beat if he is to win another green jacket this year. Below you will find the top names in the betting odds for the 2023 Masters.

Jon Rahm – Masters Favourite

The favourite to win the Masters in 2023 is Jon Rahm at 7/1 odds. Rahm has been in supreme form and proof of this is that he hasn’t finished outside the top 10 of a tournament since the PGA Tour Championship in August of last year. In the meantime, Rahm has five wins to his name including the Genesis Invitational last week.

Rory McIlroy – Masters 2nd Favourite

The second favourite for this year’s Masters Tournament is Rory McIlroy at odds of 8/1. Those odds put McIlroy right behind Rahm in the betting and indicate that he is in with a great chance fulfilling his destiny by winning the Masters and completing the career grand slam. If Tiger Woods isn’t to win at Augusta this April then there are few in the world of golf that would begrudge McIlroy being the man being fitted for a green jacket.

Scottie Scheffler – Third Favourite In Masters Betting

The current world number one Scottie Scheffler is the third favourite in the Masters betting at 10/1 odds. Scheffler has been Mr. Consistency over the past two years and this has earned him his place at the top of the world rankings.

The American is also of course the defending Masters champion having won at Augusta last year with three strokes separating him from the rest of the field. He just rarely makes mistakes which at a place like Augusta is going to give him a massive chance of winning another Masters.
