Tyrone Gambled Into Joint Favourites For Ulster Championship

Tyrone are being well backed to get their hands back on the Anglo-Celt Cup for the first time in four years after betting was opened for this year’s Ulster Championship.

Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher are the pair tasked with filling the shoes of county legend Mickey Harte, who left his role as Tyrone manager in November.

Although, the Red Hand county are already coming in for early support for this year’s Ulster Championship after shortening into 13/8 from 9/4 this week.

The move makes them joint favourites in the province alongside Donegal, who are chasing their third provincial title in four years after underdogs Cavan denied them three-in-a-row in last year’s decider.

Cavan are 10/1 shots to defend their Ulster crown, with Armagh and Down at 14/1 and 16/1 respectively.

Mickey Harte’s reign as Louth manager is also being backed to get off to a strong start, with the Leinster side odds-on 1/3 shots to earn promotion from Division 4 in this year’s National League.
