Following Jabeur’s semi-final victory she said “ “Thank you to the crowd that kept me in the match, thank you very much for believing in me… I’m working a lot with my mental coach about this. I might be writing a book about it!”

She then went on to say, “I’m very proud of myself because maybe the old me would have lost this match and I would’ve been back home already.”

Ons clearly feels she is stronger mentally now than ever before, similarly, her opponent Vondrousova spoke about the mental side of the game “I didn’t play for six months last year and you never know if you can be at that level again… I’m so grateful to be here, be healthy and be playing tennis again.”

No matter who wins it’s nice to see both women enjoying their tennis after recent struggles. This Saturday one of them will become a first-time Wimbledon winner.

Wimbledon Women’s Final Prediction & Best Bet

Prediction: Marketa Vondrousova to win in 3 sets and become 2023 Wimbledon Champion.

Sixth Seed Ons Jabeur enters her second successive Wimbledon Women’s Final following her defeat last year against Elena Rybakina 3–6, 6–2, 6–2. This time she is the favourite against unseeded Marketa Vondrousova who made the French Open final in 2019.

However, despite the head-to-head between both players being 3 wins a piece, Marketa has won their two meetings this season. This will be tight one way or another and could go all the way.

Best Bet: Total Sets Over 2.5 @ 5/4
