Welcome to the BoyleSports World Grand Prix for 2022!

It’s a real privilege and honour for all of us at BoyleSports to have further enhanced our commitment to the darts industry with this year’s event bringing us to our fourth year as title sponsors.

The BoyleSports World Grand Prix is a hugely popular ranking event that really kicks off a busy back end of the year for the players.

We are delighted to see it return to the Morningside Arena in Leicester and we look forward to seeing spectators from all over the globe revel in the unique atmosphere provided by the high-class action and entertainment from the oche.

THE OUTRIGHT BETTING FOR THE WGP CAN BE FOUND HERE

We have seen some marvellous winners over the last few years as sponsors with Michael van Gerwen crowned champion back in 2019 when he beat Dave Chisnall 5-2 in the final.

Gerwyn Price won the event in 2020 when it was held behind closed doors, providing some brilliant moments to beat Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode 5-2 in the decider.

The Iceman was out to defend his title then in 2021, but it was compatriot Jonny Clayton who flew out of the traps like a greyhound in the final to be crowned champion with a 5-1 victory.

BoyleSports are proud to be supporting Parkinson’s UK again this year and will donate £500 to the charity every time a player hits a ‘Full House’ – that’s when they win a match with the most 180s and the highest checkout!

WHAT IS A FULL HOUSE? WE EXPLAIN RIGHT HERE

Jonny Clayton played his part last year with two Full House’s on his way to lifting the trophy, adding £1,000 to the final pot of £10,000. We’ll be cheering on each and every one this year knowing that it will support such a worthy cause.

We have built a great relationship with the players over the last number of years and thank them and their managers and everyone at the PDC who have helped our partnership flourish.

We are very proud to share the experience with the best players in the world, from the serial winners to the youthful up-and-coming stars.

Another exciting chapter will be written this year and we look forward to discovering who will write their name into the history books by joining an illustrious list of winners including 11-time champion Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen, who is seeking a sixth title this year.
