Cam Smith at Augusta for the Masters BSI

Cameron Smith Masters Odds – The LIV Tour’s Top Contender

We have Cameron Smith Masters odds for you as the Australian looks to win his second-ever Major title and two on-the-spin.

The LIV Golf rebel and World Number 5 comes into this tournament in good form following his decision to join the breakaway tour. He came 4th in his first start in Boston and won his second start taking home over $5 million in the process from his first 4 starts on the LIV Golf tour.

The Aussie’s Masters form is strong despite one poor performance that came in 2019 when he finished 51st. In the year prior to that, 2018, he came T5th and since 2019 Smith has placed tied for 2nd in 2020, tied for 10th in 2021 and tied for 3rd in 2022.

In this post, you will find Cam Smith’s latest Masters betting odds along with a preview of his chances at winning at Augusta National this April.

Cameron Smith Masters Betting Odds

Cameron Smith is 28/1 in the betting odds to win the Masters in 2023. Those odds make Smith the fifth favourite in the Masters betting market behind Scottie Scheffler at 7/1, Jon Rahm and Rory Mcllroy at 8/1 and Jordan Spieth at 14/1.

Despite Cameron Smith electing to join the Saudi-backed LIV Golf breakaway tour last year the decision was made to allow Smith and other golfers who had previously qualified to play in the majors for as long as they were still eligible. Smith has admitted that it is a huge relief to still be allowed to play in these competitions as that is what you dream of as a kid.

Victory in Augusta would certainly generate a major talking point surrounding the issue of LIV Golf stars partaking at the Majors and do not rule out Smith doing just that.

Smith’s Wins In 2023

Cameron Smith is without a victory in 2023 with his most recent victory coming at the Australia PGA Championship back in November with his score of -14 under which was good enough to be three shots clear of the field.

Most Recent Form

Smith has had some mixed form in 2023, he opened his season at the Saudi International in February where he was cut. He followed that up with an appearance in the LIV Golf Mayakoba – Individual where he finished in tied for fifth.

Most recently, he played in the LIV Golf Tucson – Individual coming in a tie for 24th in March. You would expect Smith to be well up for the Masters though and in recent months he has taken more time off from events to practice for the Masters.

Recent Major Form

Cameron Smith is the most recent major championship winner after taking home The Open Championship last July when his score of -20 under was enough to beat Cameron Young in second place by one shot and third-placed Rory Mcllroy by two shots.

Aside from that success in 2022’s majors Smith was cut at the U.S. Open, came tied for thirteenth at the PGA Championship and tied for third at last year’s Masters tournament.

Cameron Smith Masters Form

Cameron Smith has some strong Masters pedigree despite only placing tied for 55th at his very first tournament in 2016. Since then he has consistently been found in the top 10 of the field coming tied for fifth in 2018, second in 2020, tied for tenth in 2021 and tied for third in 2022.

Cameron Smith’s Major Wins

Cameron Smith won his first and only major championship last time out in July at The Open Championship. His score of -20 under par was enough to beat Cameron Young in second place by one shot and third-placed Rory Mcllroy by two shots.

Can Smith make it back-to-back majors at Augusta National this April? It would certainly be a headline-maker if he can.
