Cheltenham Day Two Tips From Robbie Power

We have our horse racing ambassador Robbie Power’s Cheltenham Day two tips from the festival ahead of the start of racing this afternoon.

Robbie Power got off to a flyer on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival with all of his selections landing!

BoyleSports has also launched today’s EPIC place race, meaning they will pay 7 places in the Coral Cup at 2.50pm.

Speaking from the course today, BoyleSports ambassador and former Gold Cup and Grand National winning jockey, Robbie Power, gave these picks for today:

Ballymore Novices Hurdle @ 1.30pm 

“My fancies are – in the opener – Impaire Et Passe, very impressive in Punchestown on his last start and the word from Closutton (Willie Mullins’ yard) is that this horse is a bit special.”

Brown Advisory @ 2.10pm

“In the 3-mile novice chase, the Brown Advisory – Gerri Colombe. A dual Grade 1 winner over 2½ miles, I think the step up to three miles is going is bring out even more improvement.”

Champion Chase @ 3.30pm

“In the big race, the Queen Mother Champion Chase – Energumene v Edwardstone. The more the ground dries, the more I’m starting to favour Edwardstone. It’s a dry morning at Cheltenham and I think Edwardstone will hold that form with Energumene from Cheltenham in January.”
