Viewers won’t be choosing to vote leave on Nigel Farage’s I’m A Celebrity stint according to the latest betting odds. BoyleSports has slashed the controversial politician into 11/2 from 12/1 to win I’m A Celebrity 2023.

The former UKIP and Brexit Party leader has touched down in Australia amid rumours he is receiving a £1.5m fee to appear in the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Outta Here which kicks off at 9 pm this Sunday evening.

In last season’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, controversial Conservative politician Matt Hancock appeared on the show. Like Farage this year, Hancock’s inclusion was met with plenty of public outrage. However, Hancock ended up having a successful run in the jungle, eventually finishing in third place.

Seeing how the Hancock saga played out suggests that Farage (although he is a much more controversial figure) could also have success on this year’s show.

Jockey Frankie Dettori (6/1), First Dates host Fred Sirieix (4/1) and former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson (9/2) are also rated likely candidates to be popular enough with the public to go all the way.

Boxer Tony Bellew is a 16/1 shot to go the distance and become the second winner from the world of sport after footballer Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle last year.
