Price Cut On Harry Kane For Tottenham Stay

England striker Harry Kane is now a hot odds-on shot to be playing his football at Tottenham Hotspur again next season with support for a big money transfer this summer starting to dry up.

Kane admitted before the end of last season that he wanted a fresh challenge and Manchester City were 4/6 favourites to secure the signature of the wantaway striker with a replacement for Sergio Aguero said to be high on Pep Guardiola’s priority list.

The City manager claimed on Wednesday however that the club were being priced out of a move for a replacement, despite reports they have already offered Tottenham a deal worth £100m for their star striker.

A shift in the betting over the past 24 hours is now also suggesting Kane’s chances of a transfer are getting more remote after we eased a summer move to the champions out to 11/10,

while the chances of him staying at Tottenham have been cut into 4/7 from 6/5.

Champions League winners Chelsea have been pushed out to 6/1 from 3/1 to sign Kane before the transfer window closes, with Paris St. Germain the only suitors in the betting to see their price shorten over the past two weeks at 16/1 from 20/1.
