Top English Player Masters Odds & Betting

We have all the latest top English player Masters odds and betting for you ahead of the start of action at Augusta National this Thursday.

The 87th Masters gets underway on Thursday as Augusta National plays host to the first major of the year. Since the tournament’s inception the tournament has been won by an Englishman four times, Nick Faldo won the tournament in 1989, 1990, and 1996 and Danny Willett in 2016.

At this year’s tournament, there are five Englishmen venturing to Augusta hoping to land that famed green jacket and in turn landing the fifth tournament success for an Englishman at the event by winning the competition that was won last year by American Scottie Scheffler.

Matt Fitzpatrick – 9/4

The Englishman is coming into this Master’s tournament on the back of his first Major title at the US Open last year. In the weeks coming up to the Masters, he has attracted lots of media attention a few weeks ago arguing that LIV Golfers should never be allowed return to the PGA Tour, and in recent days he has even admitted to falling asleep watching a documentary about himself.

This season he hasn’t been in great form. From Fitzpatrick’s nine events entered he has 1 Top 10 and 3 Top 25s most recently finishing tied for 13th at the CJ Cup. This will be his ninth Master’s appearance, and most recently he finished T-14 in 2022 which was his best since finishing T-7 in 2016. Matthew Fitzpatrick will enter this tournament as England’s leading hope and is installed at 9/4 to be the best of the bunch.

Tommy Fleetwood – 3/1

Coming into the tournament Tommy Fleetwood has had an ok start to the season, from eight starts he has 2 Top 10s and 3 Top 25 finishes.

The highlight of his season so far was most recently when he moved within 0.71 points of the automatic Ryder Cup qualification spots on the World Points List after a T-3 finish at the Valspar Championship. Rounds of 68-69-69-70 saw the six-time DP World Tour winner climb three places and within touching distance of Shane Lowry who is currently in the final qualifying spot.

This will be Fleetwood’s seventh appearance at the Masters and he will be looking to build on his performance at last year’s event when he finished T14. You can back Tommy Fleetwood to top his fellow countrymen in this Masters tournament at odds of 3/1.

Tyrrell Hatton – 3/1

The man from High Wycombe has had a fantastic start to his 2023 season recording four top-10 finishes, including a runner-up at the Players Championship and T4 in the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.

The World Number 17 has 10 professional tour wins to his name since turning pro in 2011 and will be hoping to add to that in Augusta. This will be his seventh appearance at the event and with his good form he has a chance of bettering his best Masters finish which was T-18 in 2021.

Hatton is 3/1 to be Top English Golfer at the 2023 Masters.

Justin Rose – 10/3

There was a time when you nearly wouldn’t have gotten 10/3 on him to win the entire event now he is exactly that price to be the top Englishman. The two-time Master’s runner-up has top-25 finishes in 13 of his 17 starts at Augusta National and has held at least a share of the lead after eight different rounds, the most by anyone not to win the event.

After a poor period on the course, Rose seems to be coming into form after winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February for his first worldwide win since 2019.

That will be a confidence-boosting victory and if he can get things right at Augusta, he has shown he has the game to be competitive at the tournament which makes odds of 10/3 for Rose to be top Englishman quite attractive.

Danny Willett – 7/1

The Sheffield native won this tournament back in 2016 after Jordan Spieth‘s meltdown and we all know that Masters form repeats itself quite often. In 2023 he has been in decent form with 1 Runners-Up finish, 1 Top-10 and 3 Top-25 from his eleven events.

Last year he finished T-12, which was his best finish at Augusta National since his bogey-free 67 in the final round to win the green jacket seven years ago. Willett could certainly prove to be value at 7/1 to be the Top English Golfer.
